The Land
of India
India is often picturized as the land of rope trick, snake charmers,
magic carpets, beautiful women and mighty warriors of the sword. Even
though that picture is a folk tale to some extend, the legend is indeed
true that India is a fairytale of magic and mesmerism.
India, is a land of immense diversity, which makes it considerable as a subcontinent. It is a land of reinvigorate wealth both resource-wise and heritage-wise. It is the biggest democratic in the world with a population of more than a billion making it an epitome of an advanced human civilization. It is a secular country and there exists no discrimination and peace rules. It has mountains, rivers, rainforests, deserts, oceans and it seems as though nature was more benevolent to India. The path of past time and the time that runs reveals the truth that India is the most forgiving and kind mother of all times.
People
Most Indian women put on a spot on their foreheads called Bindi and
wear a 5m long cloth called a saree. The saree is very significant because
a woman in a saree resembles the outline map of India.
Language
India has more than 500 languages. So it’s technically impossible
to learn them all. Its better we know only the Indian link language of
Hindustani and the international link language of English.
Wonders
India has several wonders in it. The Taj Mahal, made of fine marble
and build on the banks of river yamuna, is the biggest and most astonishing
erection for a woman in the whole world. There are also several other
temples, palaces and forts that makes us forget to breath.
Religion
Indian population is 75%Hinduism, 23%Islam, 2%Christianity and 1%
the rest like Sikhism, Buddism, Jain etc. Nevertheless they are all 100%
Indians.
Literacy
India is only about 55% literate. But education is not mere literacy
and I believe all Indians are 100% educated from their own lessons of
life.
Employment
The population in India points out that there is a high level of unemployment.
When people have nothing else to, they do it.
Marriages
The system of marriages in India, unlike any other countries is a
powerful bond with a promise forever. The divorce rates are low indicating
that Indians are forgiving, optimistic, understanding and loving.
India is my country. All Indians are my brothers and sisters. In all of them run the Indian blood and the heart that beats the Indian sprit. The Indian flag makes their spirits soar and the national anthem makes them breath pride of being an Indian.
